LIFE LESSONS
Things life
had to teach me.
Some lessons came from classrooms. Others came from love, family, work, grief, mistakes, patience, conflict and getting things wrong before I understood them.
NOT COMMANDMENTS
A record of what I understood when I understood it.
These aren't universal rules. They're lessons from a life still being lived—shared honestly in case something I've experienced helps someone else understand their own.
Preserve the record. Allow the understanding to evolve.
HOW I RECORD A LESSON
What I felt.
What I did.
What I got wrong.
What I learned.
What I believe now.
THE HUMAN LAB
The heart is part of the laboratory too.
FRAMEWORKS I BUILD
Sometimes a lesson becomes a system.
When something matters enough, I try to turn what I am learning into a framework I can actually use. Relationship philosophy, trust, friendship, decision-making and communication have all become ways for me to slow down, examine the evidence and act more intentionally.
The framework is not the truth forever. It is a snapshot of my thinking at that point in my life. When the thinking changes, I preserve the earlier version and document what changed.
ARTIFACTS OF MY THINKING
The frameworks have versions because I do too.
These are working artifacts—not commandments. They show me trying to make human questions more legible: trust, communication, friendship and relationships. Earlier versions stay in the record when the thinking changes.

Additional versions remain part of the archive. Their dates and context will be attached to the record rather than guessed.
A LIVING RECORD
I reserve the right to learn.
If I understand something differently five or fifteen years from now, I don't need to erase the person who wrote it before. The original stays in the record. A new reflection joins it.
What I understood then.
What experience changed.
What I understand now.
THE PRINCIPLE
Growth shouldn't require pretending I was always who I am now.
The change is part of the story.
